Cagayan de Oro’s very own Jio Jalalon was named to the 2023 PBA All-Defensive Team during the Annual Leo Awards held Sunday night, November 5, 2023 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. This marks his third selection to the prestigious all-defensive team, with previous acknowledgments in 2017 and 2021. Joining Jalalon in this elite group of defensive standouts are Cliff Hodge, Chris Newsome, June Mar Fajardo, and Christian Standhardinger.
