Losing your mobile phone these days can be a significant problem because it contains contact numbers, private photos, videos, and even passwords for your accounts, including access to banking and social media. Fortunately, for one person who left her phone on a table at Mang Inasal in Gaisano Capital Balingasag in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, some kind-hearted staff found her phone, kept it safe, and handed it over to their cashier.
For Suzette Medrano Gomez, it was a typical Sunday. She went shopping for toys, then went to a busy Mang Inasal in Balingasag. While waiting for her order, she chatted on her Oppo A94 phone. She was with two young kids and left quickly around noon after lunch, with a crowd still waiting at the cashier. She believed she had safely kept all her belongings in her bag, including her phone.
When Suzette got home to Jasaan, she realized her phone was missing when she wanted to look at her photos. She started to worry when she couldn’t find her phone in her bag. She used another phone to call her number. After a few tries, someone answered and told her that her phone was safe and secured at Mang Inasal where they had lunch. She quickly returned to Balingasag and got her phone back.
She wanted to express her gratitude to the cashier who had kept her phone safe, which was a great relief. However, in her excitement, she forgot to take a photo with the cashier. She later discovered the cashier’s name on the receipt. See below.
