Homegrown Limketkai Group has been identified as the proponent of a 500-hectare island reclamation project near Bulua in Cagayan de Oro City. City Councilor Edgar Cabanlas shared this information during the online program “Ang Inyong Konseho Karon.” The island will be linked to the mainland by a bridge.
Below, you can see an example of island-type reclamation: the Andaman Township in Penang, Malaysia, spanning 300 hectares and connected to the mainland by bridges.

Here is the Andaman Township full development proposal.

The proposed reclamation project is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary documentation and conducting a feasibility study, which will be submitted to the relevant national government agencies.
