The local government of Valencia City, Bukidnon has revoked a driver’s permit/authority to drive motorela in the city as an initiatory measure following a complaint of sexual harassment by a transgender passenger who posted the incident in Facebook which went trending. After locating the driver, City Administrator Atty Genaro Cadigal Jr arranged a face-off between the complainant and the driver at his office where another victim surfaced and joined the confrontational proceeding. Accordingly, other legal actions against the driver will follow.
Here’s a screenshot of the victim’s Facebook post alleging that instead of taking the passenger to the intended address (Purok 13), the motorela driver took the victim (passenger) to a secluded area and expressed his desire to have sex. The victim refused and reasoned until the suspect gave up and took the victim to Purok 13. The driver even held on to the victim’s hand upon handing the motorela fare. Because of the incident, the victim was traumatized and warned netizens about going home alone late at night.

The City Administrator’s Office tracked the motorela body number that was posted.

Here are pictures during the face-off at the office of City Administrator Genaro Cadigal Jr.
