Five photo entries from Northern Mindanao were named Grand Finalists – 20 for the conventional and 20 for the mobile category in the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Photography Contest 2023. The photos of Liemuel Pantuhan (mobile), Alvin Cempron (conventional), Oliver Atienza (conventional), Earl Ryan Janubas (conventional) and Jumelito Capilot (conventional) were selected from among 5,407 entries. Accordingly, final judging has been concluded and that the winners will be made public on September 13.
Meanwhile, the entries with the highest number of likes per category will be declared the “Most Liked”. Voting is open from August 30, 6pm to September 12, 2023 5pm. Winners will be announced on September 13, 2023.

The Top 12 winners in the conventional photo category will receive Php80,000 in cash prizes each while the Top 12 winners in the mobile category will take home Php35,000 each. The non-winning finalists will also receive consolation prizes.
Among the judges in the final judging were prominent professional photographers like Mr. Bobot Go, Ms Lauren Malcampo, and Mr. Wig Tysmans along with columnist and editor Mr. Pepper Teehankee.
