HISTORY WATCH: MOGCHS – the oldest high school in Misamis Oriental built in 1909

Did you know that the Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS) was built in 1909 through the initiative of Don Apolinar Velez under the administration of American Governor-General William Cameron Forbes? The oldest high school in the province was then called Misamis Oriental High School (MOHS). The original building still stands today.
