Cagayan de Oro City will soon launch a new area for whitewater rafting adventure which the city has been known for years. The new route is located further upstream of Cagayan de Oro River in Barangay Tignapoloan with Sinulom Falls and Bolao Cold Spring as the new Drop-off Point and will end at Uguiaban Bridge passing through 17 rapids, stunning views and jaw dropping natural sceneries. Personnel of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department and City Tourism Office recently conducted a scouting trip to introduce the new area for rafting as well as camping site as additional adventure.

The city has been known as the whitewater rafting capital in the country where rafting adventure is year-round.
