A young boxing star is born as Northern Mindanao’s Christian Pador from Malaybalay City racked up three straight knockout victories en route to winning the gold medal in the Light Flyweight boxing category at the Palarong Pambansa 2023 in Marikina City. Pador used a relentless body attack to wear down his opponents. In the finals, Pador stopped Region 12’s Erich Binoya who was carried out on a stretcher.
Pador from Casisang National High School in Malaybalay City won his first bout via walkover after his opponent Yvan Cris Legaspi of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) did not show up. He then stopped his next three opponents for the gold. Watch his bouts below.
