Cagayan de Oro City 2nd District Rep. Rufus Rodriguez together with barangay officials and DPWH staff recently led the formal groundbreaking ceremony for the continuation of the six-lane 10.80-kilometer CDO Eastern Interior Bypass Road Project. The latest project covers the 800-meter road opening in Barangay Agusan funded under Package 15 (Contract ID 23K00151) worth P100 million and the next 800-meter segment under Package 16 (Contract ID 23K00152) worth another P100 million which connects to Sayre Highway near Gaisano Puerto.
The CDO Eastern Interior Bypass Road Project starts at Junction J.R. Borja Ext./Galaxy Road, and traverses Barangays Gusa, Cugman, Tablon (back of Nestle), Agusan and connects at Jct. Sayre Highway at Barangay Puerto. This will serve as alternative road for the city’s eastern areas. Total project cost for the new road amounts to P2.68 billion.
