Do you have coins and peso bills that are mutilated and unfit but acceptable? You might as well have them exchanged with new ones during the Piso Caravan by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) which is now underway today, July 28 at 5th Floor of SM CDO Downtown and again tomorrow, July 29, at 2nd Floor of SM City CDO Uptown.

Under the BSP Clean Note and Coin Policy, Philippine banknotes and coins are classified into three (3) such as fit currency, unfit, and mutilated currency.

Fit Currency – clean money not necessarily new but already in circulation and in good condition
Unfit Bank Notes – have obvious writings and markings, with stains and faded prints
Mutilated Bank Notes – have missing parts, with adhesive or staple wires, among others

PISO CARAVAN SCHEDULE:

28 July 2023, 10am – 5pm, 5th Flr. SM City CDO Downtown
29 July 2023, 10am – 5pm, 2nd Flr. SM City CDO Uptown
