Travelers and tourists can now have a glimpse of the natural treasures of Malitbog, Bukidnon with the recent launching of “A PHOTO STORY OF BEAUTY & CULTURE” showcasing the beauty of Malitbog, Bukidnon, located adjacent to the Departure Hall Island E at NAIA Terminal 3. The display, which runs until August 4, highlights the natural treasures of Malitbog, such as the Bagyangon Falls, mountain ridges, and the rich culture and traditions of the Higaonon tribe. From August 5 to 19, the exhibit will be on display at NAIA Terminal 2. The exhibit was organized by Bukidnon 1st District Rep. Jose Manuel Alba and Malitbog Mayor Gary Casiño, as part of MIAA’s endeavor to support local tourism. MIAA OIC Bryan Co attended the July 22 launch of the photo exhibit.
Malitbog is just over an hour away from Cagayan de Oro City, with a total of 24 daily flights operated by AirAsia Philippines, Cebu Pacific, and Philippine Airlines between Manila and Cagayan de Oro.
