The 20th City Council of Cagayan de Oro has recently approved the Preliminary Subdivision Development Plan (PSDP) of the 14-storey Zircon Condominium Project located in Barangay Balulang. Zircon will have an area of 28,974 square meters with 363 residential units. It is the first building of the Alexandrite Columns, a cluster of residential condominiums at Uptown Metropolis, a 9.13-hectare mixed use development by A Brown Co. Inc. located along South Diversion Road near Pelaez (Taguanao) Bridge in Upper Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City.
The approval however, will be subject to compliance of the conditions imposed by the City Housing and Urban Development Department and the City Engineer’s Office.

The area is already flat so expect less earthworks.
The Alexandrite Columns is part of Uptown Metropolis, an upscale mixed-use development.
As shown below, Zircon is just the first condominium to rise at the Alexandrite Columns. Four more condos will be rising soon – Tektite, Benitoite, Tanzanite and Andesite. A supermarket, retail areas and showroom are also part of the development.
