A driver and his 3-year old son suffered burns in their bodies after their multicab suddenly caught fire along Sayre Highway in Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City while they were on their way to the city coming from Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon Sunday afternoon, July 16. Reports revealed that the driver pulled over to the side of the road when seeing smoke billowing from their vehicle. Once parked, smoke immediately turned to fire resulting to their burning injuries. Responding firefighters helped extinguish the fire wile both victims are now safe recuperating from their injuries at the hospital. Meanwhile, fire personnel conducted investigation on the incident.
