Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal is pushing for the realization of the Asenso Bay Cruise, a major initiative in the local tourism industry where tourists ride a cruiser boat from Migpangi Port in the Municipality of Bonifacio and pass under the Panguil Bay Bridge and along the provincial coastline to Sinonoc Port in Sinacaban then towards the northern part of the province and finally at Caluya Port in Sapang Dalaga where the Caluya Shrine and Floating Cottages are located.
This was one of the local initiatives stated by Gov. Oaminal during his State of the Province Address last July 1 which will invigorate the local tourism industry and foster greater economic growth for their local communities.
