Iligan City-born Paul Cyron Diao from West Campus High School (WCHS) in Sacramento, California has been named to the Batang Gilas Under-16 squad that will be competing in the SEABA U16 Tournament set July 15-19, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The good news was announced by Tumakbo United Basketball in its Instagram account. The 15-year old Diao stands 6’5 and plays the center and power forward positions and is currently averaging 6.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks for WCHS.
Tumakbo United Basketball is a non-profit grassroots Filipino North American Organization which was founded to provide Filipino North American youth player resources to help develop their talent and character, on and off the court.
