GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation, a joint venture between Ayala-owned AC Logistics Holdings Corp. (AC Logistics) and Glacier Megafridge, Inc. (GMI), formally inaugurated its cold chain facility in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City today, June 19, 2023, cementing its presence in the main logistical hub of Northern Mindanao. It is the first locator in the commercial component of the 100-hectare Bayview Heights development of Alveo Land.
The 4,400 sqm facility is built within a 10,000 sqm lot and is equipped with 13 loading doors, 7 plug in ports, 4 dock levelers and 9 freezer rooms that can accommodate 5,348 pallet positions with a seismic grade racking system enough to store 4.5 million kgs of meat products. It is the company’s first facility outside Luzon.
