McJour Luib, who currently is an assistant coach of Converge FiberXers was sprung into action last Wednesday, June 14, against Blackwater in the ongoing PBA on Tour pre-season. The 31-year old 5-10 guard from Cagayan de Oro went undrafted in 2016 after a lustrous career in the NCAA including a championship with Letran in 2014. Luib joined coach Aldin Ayo at De La Salle and later at Converge in the PBA. He was activated last Wednesday after injuries to the team’s guards. He finished with 3 points, 3 assists and a rebound in an 8-minute stint.
