Cotta Shrine in Ozamiz to deny communion to those who wear shorts, sleeveless during holy mass

Beginning July 1, 2023, the Archdiocesan Shrine of the Birhen sa Cotta in Ozamiz City will be denying communion to those who wear shorts and sleeveless during the holy mass. In an advisory released by the Shrine Rector Rev. Fr. Juniber Roma, the new policy aims to gain respect of the holy mass, the shrine as a place of worship and a sacred site. Accordingly, this had the approval of Archbishop Martin Jumoad.
