The Provincial Governors of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) yesterday, June 6, 2023 led hundreds of delegates during the formal launching of the BARMM Governors’ Caucus (BGC) at Xavier Estates and Country Club, Cagayan de Oro City. The theme of the program is “Tara, Usap Tayo! Inclusivity, Security Justice”. The BGC aims to promote the common issues of the constituents of the local government units of BARMM as well as to engage all other stakeholders.
Four of the 5 governors of BARMM attended the event. They are Sulu Governor Abdusakur M. Tan, Maguindanao del Sur Gov. Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu, Tawi-Tawi Gov. Yshmael “Mang” I. Sali and Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong Alonto Jr. Meanwhile, only Basilan Gov. Hadjiman S Hataman-Salliman was not able to attend.
