God gifted her beloved Cagayan de Oro with an abundance of lambago trees that grew in splendor along the majestic Cagayan de Oro river.

In the days gone by, the old settlement of Cagayan de Oro was called Kalambaguhan, named after the lambago trees that thrived in the riverbanks that were a witness to our city’s rich history.

This is their loving tribute to their very own lambago – almost wanting, but never forgotten.
