Team PortaBio from Gusa Regional Science High School is 2nd runner-up in Shell NXplorers: The Bright Ideas Challenge

Team PortaBio composed of students from Gusa Regional Science High School in Cagayan de Oro City bagged second runner-up in the recently concluded Shell NXplorers: The Bright Ideas Challenge (TBIC), a platform where student teams submit innovative projects that can help solve the country’s issues such as food, water, and energy problems. Team PortaBio is composed of Rolyn Acapulco, Kesley Cassie Espiritu, Elthon John Famador, Klynch Roy Gumaling and Moira Teressa Angelica Mendoza with Coach Engr. Shoji-an Daradal. Congratulations!

They were recognized during the culmination activity held last May 12 at Ascott Makati. Team PortaBio took home Php 50,000 while the school received Php 25,000.
