A T129 ATAK, one of the newly-acquired attack helicopters of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) was spotted over Cagayan de Oro this morning, May 9, 2023. Developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), the TAI/AgustaWestland T129 ATAK is a twin-engine, tandem seat, multi-role, all-weather attack helicopter designed for armed reconnaissance and attack missions in hot and high environments and rough geography in both day and night conditions. The PAF ordered 6 with 4 delivered in 2022. The last 2 will be delivered in 2024.
