The US Embassy in the Philippines has donated state-of-the-art anti-terrorism equipment to Cagayan de Oro City Police. The donation includes X-ray machines, bomb suits, and other high-tech equipment that will be used by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit in their detection and prevention of potential threats.
City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy expressed his gratitude to the US Embassy for the generous donation, emphasizing how it will greatly benefit the city’s security measures. He acknowledged the vital role of the police force in maintaining peace and order in the city and how the new equipment will further enhance their capabilities in responding to any potential threat.
