Have you been to the Subanen Village in Tudela, Misamis Occidental? Located in Sitio Tonggo, Barangay Namut, the village inspired by the Subanen culture was built by the municipal government using indigenous materials and has become a tourist attraction. Accordingly, the place serves as a tourism hub in the area and will soon be improved to feature a swimming pool, cottages and many more amenities. Entrance fee is P25 per head.
GETTING THERE. The village can be accessed by a 2-lane concrete road and accessible by all types of vehicles. The place is along the foothills of Mt Malindang Natural Park some 17 kilometers from the town proper. See map below.
