President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has declared April 21, 2023 as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan. Known as the festival of the breaking of the fast, Eid’l Fitr also marks the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
President Marcos signed Proclamation 201 today, April 14, following the recommendation by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos. Read below.
