Man reunites with lost pet dog after countless tarps, flyers, social media posts

What would it take you to find your lost pet dog? For netizen Jimbe Nanong, his countless efforts to post in social media, hang tarpaulins and hand out flyers for his mini pinscher which got lost last April 6 finally paid off when two concerned citizens tracked down his beloved dog at the bushy area near ABS-CBN compound and Terry Hills Subdivision in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City last night, April 8. Jimbe received the call from the two concerned citizens at around 11:00pm.

In his Facebook post, Jimbe thanked everyone who shared his post about his lost dog including netizens who followed-up the status, those who received flyers and those who put up tarpaulins. Photo below shows Jimbe reunited with his pet dog together with the two individuals – Algie Ravidas Auditor and Aldrin Pabilona, who found the dog.

He then captioned that dogs are not just pets, they are loyal companions and members of our family who give us unconditional love, comfort, and joy, but in return, they rely on us for their basic needs, including food, water, exercise, and healthcare.

Jimbe added that loving our pet dogs is not only beneficial for them but also for us. It brings us a sense of fulfillment and purpose, and it helps us to create meaningful connections with another living being. Ultimately, loving our pet dogs is an act of kindness and compassion that makes the world a better place.
