Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan’s Xavier Debate Circle received a Grand Finals Award in the just concluded World Novice Debating Championship (WNDC) 2023 (Open Category) held online last March 25-26, 2023. WNDC is the world’s biggest debating tournament for novice debaters, held annually in English with teams representing universities from across the world. The debate team is composed of Rayan Camid, Angeline Marie Marcaban and Allen Arc Megreno. Congratulations!
XU-Xavier Debate Circle faced University of the Philippines – Los Banos (UPLB) in the grand finals of the Open Category.
