Here’s for your summer fun bucket list! Sapang Dalaga Floating Playground, the newest tourist attraction and the first of its kind in the province of Misamis Occidental has officially opened. Located in Casul Bay off Barangay Caluya in Sapang Dalaga town, the floating playground covers an area of 3,500 square meters of inflatable island and waterpark with 32 fun to play courses and obstacles including the Giant Tarzan Swing, Human Launcher, Iceberg, Trampoline that fits 10 people jumping all together, the Giant Slides, Donuts, Giant Hotdog, Mountain Slide, Mini Tarzan Swing and many more!!!
GETTING THERE. If you’re travelling by private transport, the junction leading to Caluya Old Port is some 7.4 kilometers after Calamba Town Proper through the Oroquieta-Dipolog Highway. A large billboard showing Caluya Shrine and Floating Cottages is installed at the junction. The road to the site is 2-lane concreted. Meanwhile, if you’re commuting from Ozamiz City, drop by Calamba Terminal then ride a “habal-habal” (motorcycle) or any available public transport to Barangay Caluya Old Port. The site is just in the vicinity of other popular tourist spots such as the Caluya Floating Cottages and Caluya Shrine.
