A Tailless Whip Scorpion, an arachnid species which is neither a spider or a scorpion, was spotted by wildlife photographer Melbert Baul inside Macahambus Cave in Cagayan de Oro City. Don’t be deceived by its menacing look but the said arachnid is harmless to humans. It has ten appendages including two whip-like front pincers but has no venom neither can it spin webs. They are found in caves, between rocks, under pieces of bark and are usually only seen at night since they are nocturnal.

Meanwhile, check out its size as compared to the human hand.
