After shooting some scenes of the Marcos Mamay biopic at an ukay-ukay store near Cogon Market in Cagayan de Oro City, actors Jeric Raval and Ara Mina continued filming at the house of Marcos Mamay in the city.

In case you don’t know, Marcos Mamay is currently the Municipal Mayor of Nunungan in Lanao del Norte and National Vice-President in the League of Municipalities of the Philippines.
His inspiring story began when he started as an ukay-ukay vendor in Cagayan de Oro where he earned some capital before venturing into politics, hence the film shooting. He has received numerous awards for his tireless efforts on peace and development especially among Muslims and Christians and fearless advocacy in fighting family feuds and ridos. In the film, he is portrayed by Jeric Raval. The film also stars Victor Neri, Julio Diaz, Ali Forbes and Teejay Marquez who plays the young Mamay. The film is being megged by seasoned writer-director Neal ‘Buboy’ Tan. They have already shot some scenes in Nunungan.
