A groundbreaking ceremony for the 4-lane 9.3-kilometer Puerto-Gusa Section of the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Road was recently held at Barangay Puerto. Cong. Rufus Rodriguez together with City Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, local barangay officials and representatives of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) led the capsule laying ceremony of the coastal road extension.
Here’s the alignment of the coastal road project. The project has already started at the Gusa end while the Puerto end will start soon. Details, layouts and specific alignments along the Tablon section are not yet available. This section in Tablon is tricky due to presence of several private ports.

Here are photos of the ground breaking ceremony held last March 10.
