Cagayan de Oro City’s garbage collection woes continue as there is still no winning bidder for the city’s garbage collection system. This was stated by City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) Head Engr. Armen Cuenca who released a statement that his office is currently implementing a contingency plan to address the issue after previous contractor IPM officially ceased its operations last March 5. However, Engr. Cuenca is hopeful that they can find a new contractor this month.
