Grab Philippines is aiming to operate its GrabCar ride hailing services in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan as it awaits respective city resolutions asking the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to open Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) in their cities. This was revealed by Grab Senior Director for Operations Ronald G. Roda during a recent media roundtable meeting.

Based on an article from Businessworld (see below), Grab aims to start venturing in areas outside Metro Manila that need additional TNVS.

It can be recalled that last September 2022, officials of Grab Philippines visited City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy and expressed their intention of bringing its GrabCar services to the city. See link below.
