SUPPORT ZEBRA, Cagayan de Oro’s homegrown BPO company is celebrating 12 years of continuous improvement achieving a fulfillment of worker’s growth in providing customer support, virtual assistant, technical support and telemarketing services. Coinciding with its milestone event, the company also inaugurated two more floors of One Providence at Lifestyle District, further expanding its workforce to more than a thousand.
From a small office space similar to an internet cafe to a multi-level building, Support Zebra’s success hinges on taking care of its employees by maintaining life balance between work and family.
Support Zebra Managing Director Niño Mae Valdehueza Duran expressed a feeling of fulfillment not because of the company’s growth in size but of the workers’ growth, their journey from agents to supervisor. Those are the things that are meaningful; company in size is just secondary, he added.
The company also cited three employees who have been with the company since it started. Levi Baldon, one of the company pioneers is shown below receiving his award.
The special occasion started with a Holy Mass at the 8th Floor officiated by Fr Fermin Tan.
