Three suspects broke inside St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral in Cagayan de Oro City and carted away the offerings inside the petition box near the adoration chapel last Sunday evening, January 29, 2023. The theft was only discovered last Wednesday and the incident was caught on CCTV. Rector Fr. Jose Alan P. Pulgo said the thieves entered the church through the ceiling of the comfort room.
