RANDOM SHOTS: Cleanup drive along Airport Diversion Road in Laguindingan, MisOr yields truck-load of trash mostly plastics from drive-thru food outlets

A cleanup drive along Laguindingan Airport Diversion Road conducted by various offices of the municipal government have yielded a truck-load of trash mostly plastics bought from drive-thru fastfood stores dumped beside the road.

The group composed of personnel from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Municipal Tourism Office and Sanitary Office who took part in the activity in relation to the Zero Waste Month were dismayed with their findings.

Most of the properties along the Airport Diversion Road are idle lands and uninhabited. However, the area is part of the Ayala masterplanned development called Habini Bay.
