A road in Barangay Besigan, one of the hinterland areas of Cagayan de Oro City, was rendered not passable to 4-wheeled vehicles after it was damaged due to scouring. In photos posted by netizen Re Ne Leo, only motorcycles can pass the site identified as Km 16 which local motorists use as short cut to Bukidnon-Iligan Road.
The scouring exposed the culvert beneath.
Hopefully, the City Engineer’s Office can implement remedial measures to restore the road.
