At first glance, you wouldn’t think this is in Cagayan de Oro but this is the new River Boulevard which is part of the Cagayan de Oro River Flood Risk Management Project now illuminated with street lights. It is still closed to the public as the project has not yet been turned over yet. Check out latest aerial updates courtesy of TRip ni ToniO.

The whole 2.3-kilometer stretch from Puntod towards JR Borja Bridge is now well lighted.

When this is opened to the public, it’s a perfect spot for night jogging.

This is by far the most complete roadway in the city far better than the Coastal Road which was opened to traffic without street lights.

The river boulevard has a 11.5-meter wide asphalt concrete road pavement (7.0 m wide carriageway, 2.0m road shoulder, and 2.5m wide parallel parking bay) and 5-meter wide public resting area on both sides.
