A deaf-mute artist took to social media his disappointment after a client suddenly cancelled her two commissioned eagle paintings which he has already completed. Dan Paul Gonzales finished the paintings in twenty days and was supposed to meet with the client/buyer who did not show up at the agreed meet up place and instead cancelled her orders. Fortunately, a friend of his sister bought his paintings.

In his Facebook post, Gonzales stated that it hurt so much that the buyer cancelled the commissioned eagle paintings.
Accordingly, he was supposed to meet with the client at a mall in Davao City last December 18 but the client/buyer suddenly cancelled the orders due to personal reasons. The client said she was busy and had to fetch someone at the airport. She also hasn’t replied to any of the artist’s communications.
Gonzalez said he endured rain during his trip and had to skip lunch to be able to meet with the buyer of the two oil paintings.
Fortunately, a friend of his sister bought the paintings for P11,500.
Gonzales has been a consistent winner in art competitions.
