Masterson Mile, the commercial strip fronting Masterson Avenue which is part of the Pueblo de Oro Township is being planned for redevelopment. This was disclosed by Chrysler Acebu, Vice President and General Manager of Pueblo de Oro (PDO), during the online show Overtime with former Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno and hosted by Maricel Casiño-Rivera. Acebu said the project is now in the planning stage.
PDO’s latest project comes after the approval of the reclassification of its business park from Commercial 2 to Commercial 3, thus, allowing high rise commercial buildings in Uptown CDO. Acebu added that the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has allowed them to build up to 95 meters tall or around 31 storeys.

Just a couple of weeks ago, ongoing soil investigation was observed at Masterson Mile right across Shell Gas Station and just near PDO Office. Accordingly, the activity was in relation to a high-rise building in the area. This further confirms the latest project.

The soil investigation is a major requirement for the building design.

We may have to wait for the official announcement by PDO.
