Jose Maria Sison, founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines, has died in exile at age 83 years old. Accordingly, he passed away at 8:40 pm on Friday night after two weeks of confinement in a hospital. Sison had been in exile in the Netherlands since the late 1980s.
