The Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD) has announced that they have received updated information from Cagayan de Oro Bulkwater Inc. (COBI) that the repair work on their busted pipeline in Brgy Taguanao may take 3 days to complete. This after the findings indicate that the extent of the damage on their bridge crossing would entail further repair work.
Meanwhile, to address the supply shortfall in the west service area, COWD shall operate its standby facility, Production Well No. 10 in Calaanan. Water delivery shall also be facilitated to affected areas. COWD shall continue to seek measures to address this situation until COBI repairs are completed and normal water supply is restored.
