Remember Chester John Pasco? The Kagayanon English Language Arts (ELA) teacher who last month received the Teacher of the Year Award from Sussex Central Middle School in Stony Creek, Virginia, USA, has joined America’s Favorite Teacher Competition. The winner will receive $25,000, a trip to Hawaii and a feature in Reader’s Digest. Chester has to be in the top 20 by April 4 to move on to the next round. As of posting, he is currently ranked 1st in the Group Phase.
