The pride of Catarman, Camiguin, Datu Adam captured the IBF Asia junior featherweight title after knocking out Indonesia’s Oky Akbar in the 7th round at Kumong Bol-anon 26 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, on September 12. The young fighter out of PMI Bohol Boxing Stable dropped Akbar with a left hook to the body to remain unbeaten at 7-0, with five knockouts, emerging as one of the promising boxers to watch from Camiguin.
