The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA-X) awarded cash incentives to two informants under Operation: Private Eye (OPE) on March 26, 2026, at its headquarters in El Salvador City. Informants “Don-Don” and “Iski” received ₱68,176.70 and ₱511,912.95, respectively, for providing information that led to major drug busts in Cagayan de Oro, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of shabu and the arrest of suspects. Officials underscored the importance of community cooperation in the fight against illegal drugs and urged the public to report any suspicious activities.
Informant “Don-Don” received ₱68,176.70 for providing information that led to the seizure of 1,000.30 grams of shabu and the arrest of one suspect during a buy-bust operation at the South Concourse of Limketkai parking area in Lapasan.
Meanwhile, informant “Iski” was awarded ₱511,912.95 for providing information that led to the confiscation of 17,119.98 grams of shabu and the arrest of two suspects during a buy-bust operation in NHA, Kauswagan.
PDEA’s initiative to reward confidential informants aims to encourage more citizens to come forward with information on illegal drug activities, helping foster a safer and drug-free community.
