A 2.6 MWp solar power plant is set to rise in Barangay Curvada, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte following a groundbreaking ceremony on March 24, 2026 led by Governor Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo, together with officials from CRESCO Power Philippines Inc., Board of Directors of Lanao Norte Electric Cooperative Inc. (LANECO), Mayor Beth Baguio Ali and other local officials. The facility is expected to generate 4,384 MWh of renewable energy annually, providing reliable and affordable electricity, creating jobs, and boosting energy security in the area.
