Commuters, take note. Starting Thursday, March 19, 2026, new fare rates for all Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs) will take effect to address the continued rise in fuel prices. Under the updated guidelines, traditional jeepneys will charge a minimum fare of ₱14.00 for the first four kilometers, with ₱2.00 for each additional kilometer, while modern jeepneys will have a minimum fare of ₱17.00 for the first four kilometers, followed by ₱2.40 for each succeeding kilometer.
