Another national government agency has relocated to El Salvador City. The Philippine Coconut Authority – Region X inaugurated its new Regional Office and Training Center in Poblacion, El Salvador City, on February 24, 2026. The facility will serve as the main office, training, and operations hub for PCA programs in Northern Mindanao, bringing services and technologies closer to coconut farmers to help improve productivity and livelihoods. The inauguration was followed by a Coconut Stakeholders’ Forum attended by government partners, stakeholders, and farmer-leaders to strengthen coordination and support the growth of the coconut industry.
