The Municipal Government of Impasug-ong, Bukidnon is investing P1.252 million for the construction of a new Panika Headdress-inspired Welcome Landmark that symbolizes the town’s pride, progress, and rich cultural heritage, and P996,542 for two Tourism Waiting Sheds that will serve as comfortable shelters for travelers and information hubs showcasing where to go, dine, and stay in the municipality. The waiting shed project also includes the provision of male and female comfort rooms at the Municipal Tourism Center.

The new Welcome Landmark will be primarily colored red to symbolize courage and vitality, and features the Municipal Seal to represent people-centered governance and 13 lights symbolizing the unity of its barangays. More than a gateway, the landmark serves as a strong first impression for visitors, highlighting the municipality’s commitment to tourism, local businesses, and improved public facilities while showcasing a forward-looking vision for the community.

Designed with a sleek yet durable design, the Tourism Waiting Sheds aim to enhance the visitor experience, boost tourism, and support local businesses. They will be installed along opposite sides of Sayre Highway near the Tourism Center for easy access to travelers. The project also includes the construction of male and female comfort rooms at the Tourism Center and is scheduled for completion within 105 days.

Meanwhile, the Tree Park Lounge (formerly the Gazebo) will undergo rehabilitation, including structural reinforcement, upgraded seating and lighting, and a reconfigured layout to better accommodate meetings, youth activities, small events, and daily public use. Beyond cosmetic enhancements, the project prioritizes safety, comfort, and efficiency, transforming the space into a more effective hub for connection and community development.
