A cable car system is being proposed at Asenso Global Gardens (AGG) in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental, with plans to connect the highlands directly to the Panguil Bay Bridge. The project aims to boost tourism, modernize infrastructure, and promote sustainable development in the area. The proposal was presented to a team of Korean investors led by Mr. Charlie Wee Yoohong, Special Advisor to PEZA/MinDA, during their recent exploratory visit. City and provincial officials, including Tangub City Mayor Ben Canama, Ozamiz City Mayor Sam Norman Fuentes, and Governor Henry S. Oaminal, welcomed the delegation, underscoring the province’s openness to investments and partnerships that generate jobs, spur business growth, and strengthen the local economy—paving the way for a more progressive and vibrant future for Misamis Occidental.

As conceptualized, the proposed Asenso Global Gardens Cable Car System will transport guests and tourists from the highlands of Barangay Hoyohoy to the iconic Panguil Bay Bridge and back.
